Guests gather together at a 14-foot mahogany dining table
to start the day with a hot, country-style breakfast. Served on platters
and worthy of a "boarding house reach", every breakfast consists
of a freshly baked item, grilled meat (bacon or sausage), potatoes, pancakes
or french toast, scrambled eggs, local favourites (grilled sauerkraut
and baked beans), local yogurt and freshly poached apples. Seconds are
encouraged (but not mandatory). |
